1. The plastic crusher should be placed in a well-ventilated location to ensure that the motor heat can dissipate, extending its lifespan.
2. Regularly lubricate the bearings to ensure lubrication between them.
3. Regularly check the cutter screws. For brand new plastic crushers, after 1 hour of use, use tools to tighten the moving and fixed cutter screws to strengthen the fixation between the blades and the cutter frame.
4. To ensure the sharpness of the cutter edges, regularly check the cutters to maintain their sharpness, reducing unnecessary damage to other components due to dull blades.
5. When replacing the cutters, the gap between the moving and fixed cutters should be: 0.8MM for crushers above 20HP, and 0.5MM for crushers below 20HP. The gap can be appropriately increased for thinner recycled materials.
6. Before the second start-up, remove any remaining crushed material from the machine chamber to reduce starting resistance. Regularly open the inertia cover and pulley cover to clean the ash outlet below the flange, as plastic crusher chamber discharges powder material into the rotating shaft bearings.
7. The machine should be properly grounded.
8. Regularly check the plastic crusher belt for looseness and tighten it in time.
