Oil pump error verification method
Published Time:
2012-11-24
This standard primarily concerns "normal test status" under Basic: head, flow, torque, and rotational speed (or axle) measurements. "Normal test status" refers to a test procedure where these parameters remain constant to reduce uncertainty from intentionally altering circuit resistance or speed. To obtain the pump's characteristic curve, results from several different experimental conditions are used to plot head, shaft power, and efficiency against flow. For each test condition, the error is subject to change. Repeated readings are necessary only when the error limit is problematic, or when a reading's trend differs from readings obtained under other conditions. The above describes the test method for a normal pump. This includes uncertainty calculations for several areas in each test condition.
This standard is mainly based on the basic "normal test status": head, flow, torque, and rotational speed (or axle) measurements. "Normal test status" refers to a test procedure where these parameters clearly remain constant, reducing uncertainty from intentionally changing circuit resistance or speed. To obtain the pump's characteristic curve, results from several different experimental conditions are used to plot head, shaft power, and efficiency against the flow curve. For each test condition, the error will vary. Repeated readings are necessary only when the error limit is a problem, or when a reading's trend differs from readings obtained under other conditions.
