1. First, peel off the adhesive decoration attached to the glass or product surface. Wet a towel with warm water (use hot water in winter), and repeatedly wipe the adhesive residue twice; then, apply soap to a warm, wet towel and repeatedly wipe the residue several times; finally, wipe off the soap with a clean, warm, wet towel, and the adhesive residue will be removed.
2. Apply toothpaste evenly to the surface of the adhesive, let it sit for a while, then wipe with a soft cloth. Sometimes, if there is a lot of adhesive and it is firmly attached, apply toothpaste again to the remaining residue and repeat the process to remove the stubborn adhesive. The principle is that toothpaste contains glycerin, which is a good solvent that can dissolve the adhesive components. Many cosmetics also contain glycerin and can be used to remove adhesives.
3. Other methods: Use a utility knife to scrape, suitable for hard surfaces such as glass and floor tiles; use alcohol to wipe, suitable for glass, floor tiles, clothing, etc.; freezing, the adhesive hardens after freezing and can be peeled off directly, suitable for situations where alcohol or scraping is not appropriate.
4. I heard that wind oil also works. If it's a sticker, you can also use a hair dryer to heat it up and peel it off easily, but this is not suitable for plastic, as excessive heat can cause deformation.
5. Use a hair dryer to blow hot air; this is very effective and convenient as most people have a hair dryer at home. It works on stickers on glass, plastic, wood, and metal. First, blow hot air back and forth for a few seconds, then peel off a small edge, and while continuing to peel, keep blowing hot air with the hair dryer. This method is very effective for removing adhesive residue.
6. To remove adhesive residue, first use a blade or scraper to peel off the adhesive material, then use gasoline or acetone to remove the remaining adhesive. Wipe the residue with a cloth soaked in gasoline or acetone. Gasoline and acetone are good organic solvents that can dissolve the adhesive, which is mainly composed of acrylic emulsion.
7. Gasoline and acetone are flammable and volatile; pay attention to fire safety. Pay attention to the concentration when using to avoid fire hazards.
