Solutions for Photoelectric Deviation Correction System Failures

1. The photoelectric eye does not track, meaning the film is uneven and irregular.
Solution: 1. The photoelectric eye sensitivity is reduced, or dust is blocking the lens. Please clean the photoelectric eye or replace it.
2: The system sensitivity is insufficient. Normally, the film should vibrate at the photoelectric eye. Adjust the sensitivity knob on the control box until it is just about to vibrate but not moving. This is the optimal state.
2. The photoelectric eye power indicator light is not lit.
Solution: If the photoelectric eye still works normally, but only the indicator light is not lit, this only means the indicator light is broken. You can continue to use it or send it back to the company for repair.
3. The photoelectric correction system cannot track certain colors.
Solution: Generally, LED blue, white, and red colors have color deviation. It usually does not recognize its own color, i.e., blue light is the worst at recognizing blue, and yellow light has difficulty recognizing white. In this case, press and hold the photoelectric eye SET button for three seconds and release it to allow the photoelectric eye to automatically adjust the light source, or adjust the sensitivity knob on the control box to increase the sensitivity.
4. The photoelectric correction system control box actuator only moves to one side and does not return.
Solution: This phenomenon is generally caused by damage to the power tube in the control box. Check method: Use the manual method to see if the actuator only moves to one side. If the manual only moves to one side, the high-power tube needs to be replaced. If the manual can move to both sides, but only moves to one side when the photoelectric eye is connected, then the photoelectric eye is broken or the positive/negative direction of the control box is incorrect. Replace the photoelectric eye or adjust the control box (it is recommended to send it back for repair).
5. Manual or automatic failure.
Solution: If neither the left nor right manual buttons work during manual operation, and the 5A fuse is intact, it can be determined that the tube is damaged and needs to be replaced (it is recommended to send it back for repair).
6. The control box does not work.
Solution: The power is not turned on, check if the 2A/5A fuse is blown (broken) or the contact is poor. (It is recommended to send it back for repair).
7. Cannot adjust the balance.
Solution: The balance potentiometer is a multi-turn (5-turn) potentiometer. If the direction is adjusted incorrectly, it will never be able to be adjusted to balance. Or both potentiometers are broken. (If it still cannot be adjusted to balance in the opposite direction, it is recommended to send it back for repair).
