The magnetic powder clutch/brake is malfunctioning.

Pneumatic expansion shafts, pneumatic expansion shafts/safety chucks, edge tracking devices (side register), magnetic powder brakes and clutches, material feeding and unwinding systems, tension control devices and other related accessories for printing, laminating, slitting, rewinding, coating, gluing, extrusion, and film casting machinery.
1. Magnetic powder filling between the two sets of units scattered to one side due to transportation or prolonged placement, and the device was stuck due to lack of excitation before starting.
2. Due to low manufacturing precision of the product and insufficient concentricity of the rotor, resulting in uneven or stuck output torque.
3. Caused by excessive magnetic powder filling during production.
4. Caused by using inferior magnetic powder.
For the above situations, it is recommended:
1. Before formal operation or after device movement, uniform operation must be performed before formal operation. This can produce smooth torque. The uniform operation method is as follows:
In the absence of excitation, the drive side rotates at the highest possible speed (below 1800 rpm) for about 1 minute, then set the excitation current to 1/4-1/5 of the rated value. While rotating the drive side, intermittently excite for about 20 times with 5 seconds on and 10 seconds off.
2. When purchasing magnetic powder clutches/brakes, it is best to choose products with guaranteed quality.
