High-end bearing casting industry will become the backbone of domestic production

China's bearing industry has achieved a considerable economic scale. However, there is still a significant gap compared to leading global bearing manufacturers due to issues in development approaches, industrial structure, independent innovation, and brand building. The focus of China's bearing industry development is to transform its development approach, prioritize technological upgrades, especially original technologies, and actively develop high-quality, high-energy, and high-efficiency products.
In the next few years, China will primarily focus on boosting domestic demand. High-precision bearings and other foundational mechanical casting industries with strong driving and radiating effects will be prioritized during the 12th Five-Year Plan, striving to reach or approach international advanced levels. With policy support, the sales revenue of high-end bearing casting is expected to reach approximately 222 billion yuan by 2015. Given the backwardness of China's high-end bearing industry, the plan clearly proposes leveraging industrial policies to raise industry entry barriers, curb low-level redundant construction, and provide financial and tax support to lay a solid foundation for the complete domestic production of major equipment. Considering the challenges of domesticating high-end equipment and the outstanding R&D, casting, and innovation capabilities of companies like AXON Technology, the domestic high-end bearing casting industry is expected to support the domestic production of major equipment in the future.
