China's machinery industry investment and the development of green manufacturing

At the recently held "China Innovation Forum: From Manufacturing to Creation -- Expert Forum on the Revitalization of the Equipment Manufacturing Industry," Lu Yongxiang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and President of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, pointed out that strategic emerging industries will drive the mechanical manufacturing industry to a higher level of development, and green and intelligent manufacturing are the keys for China to move from a manufacturing powerhouse to a strong manufacturing nation.
　　According to Duan Jiaxuan, a mechanical industry researcher at Zhongtou Consulting, with the development of China's economy, the manufacturing industry has also gradually grown, but a series of problems such as serious environmental pollution and low efficiency caused by its development have also become increasingly prominent. The theme of this conference shows that in the process of China's transition from a manufacturing powerhouse to a strong manufacturing nation, the role of using technological means contained in emerging industries to improve efficiency and protect the environment is increasingly significant and will become the future development direction of the mechanical manufacturing industry.
　　The adoption of green manufacturing technologies can effectively reduce the pollution of the mechanical manufacturing industry to the environment. Because in the green manufacturing process technology, from raw materials to industrial production, product use, scrapping, and secondary recycling throughout the entire product life cycle, at each stage, strict control of each stage's environmental pollution, changing the original end-of-pipe treatment method in the traditional model, reduces environmental pollution to the minimum.
　　The adoption of intelligent manufacturing technology helps improve the technological level of traditional manufacturing, helping enterprises optimize production processes and improve efficiency. The coal mining machine produced by the Datong Coal Mine in Shanxi Province, combined with the "unmanned mining of thin coal seams" technology, allows people to operate the coal mining machine by simply operating a computer to mine coal seams more than 200 meters away. This system not only reduces the labor intensity of workers but also ensures safety. Most importantly, it has mined all the coal with a thickness of less than 1.3 meters that could not be mined before, increasing daily output to more than 60 million tons, with significant comprehensive benefits.
